Resting in God

Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:28)

Stop doing all of the things that are keeping you so busy and distracted. Stop the work you do for the world. I (Christ) don’t want to add more to your list of obligations to be a Christian. I simply want you to rest in My presence and know you are loved. So I put down my Bible, let peace come over me, and lay down on a park bench and slept.
