In this booklet the author defends the Authorised Version as the best and most trustworthy version of the Bible in the English language.  Many textual scholars have realised that in nearly all modern versions the New Testament is based on less reliable Greek manuscripts, and often the translation itself is too free and less accurate than the time-honored Authorised Version – the masterpiece in our English literary heritage.
