How Do We Know God Exists? (Contenders)

If God does not exist, then life holds no divine purpose. We are each free to live as we choose. But if an ultimate Creator does exist, then it is appropriate to attempt to discover who He is, what He is like, and if and how He can be known. The six sessions here are designed to stimulate deep dialogue that probes the assumptions of every person in your group so that each will have a more accurate and profound perspective of who God is and what He is like, and contemplate knowing and experiencing Him.
The Contenders series is purposely designed to give truth seekers an opportunity to ask questions and probe into the basics of Christianity within the friendly, caring environment of small group discussion. The questions are presented to represent the viewpoints of both the Christian and the skeptic. Those who already follow Jesus will grow in the basic beliefs of the Christian faith and understand how to address the issues of their friends who are still exploring Christianity.
