Growing for God [eBook]

When we were children the people who cared about us were very concerned about our development.  They would measure our height, check our weight, and regulate our diet, because they knew the importance of physical growth.  The New Testament places the same kind of emphasis on spiritual growth.  It tells us to ‘leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity’, (Hebrews 6:1).  And to ‘grow up in our salvation’ (1 Peter 2:2).  This is never suggested, but always commanded.

‘Growing for God’ is a book that takes these commands seriously.  It looks at this great subject in the context of God’s plan for our lives encouraging us to grow for His glory and provides practical instruction which will help us to achieve this goal.
