A Commentary for Children

Through the entire book of Exodus we see the Love of God shining forth in splendour. We see it in the burning bush, as God calls Moses to rescue His people; we see it in the wilderness in the pillar of fire, as God leads His people on their journey; we see it on top of Mount Sinai, as God gives His people the Ten Commandments; we see it within the tabernacle, as God condescends to dwell in the midst of His people. Exodus is filled with the Love of God for us, and so for us it is a book which fills us with hope and faith and joy in the Lord.
